Another person contacted me yesterday to look after their dog soon, and I guess I'm gonna be potty-training a yorkie terrier puppy in a couple of weeks. <3

Just found out I lost the upcoming dog-sitting job because the woman's husband's friend volunteered to stay at their house. fuck I could have used that $175..

Ah dog-sitting jobs. Nothing quite like getting to imagine that I can successfully live by myself for a few days, and get paid for it. xD

Good news: I just got a 2 week dog-sitting job. :D

Bad news: The Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind DLC is coming out on the 20th of this month, and I'm not gonna be able to play it until the 26th/27th which means possibly being spoiled on the story because I canNOT avoid the internet for a week. x[

Just learned that the elderly, 15-year old dog- that I'm getting ready to dog-sit for close to a month- starting next weekend- has had 2 mini-strokes in the past month. fUCK!

ETA: oh thank fucking christ. I just got off the phone with the owner and the dog had 2 heat strokes. That's good. I don't have to worry as much now.

In the 2 weeks that I'm currently dog-sitting 2 old chihuahuas*, for a family on vacation- I'm learning how fucking tiny these dogs bladders are. By which I mean-1) I let them out to go the bathroom at midnight/12AM-> 2) I get at 6AM to let them outside to go potty, and I still have to clean up whatever section of the floor (in the house) is ( Read more... )

- Finished up a dog-sitting job a couple of weeks ago that got me $300. The only thing that's a shame is that the lady's dog is so damn old that was definitely the first AND last dog-sitting job I had from her.

Best dog-sitting job ever: Having to look after a person's dog that knows how to use the doggy-door whenever it needs to go to the bathroom which means I don't have to worry about ever setting an alarm to wake up at early-as-fuck-o'clock in the morning.

I'm now currently getting paid $20 a day (for about 5-6 days) to look after this little ball of fluff again:

There are only 3 dogs in this house that I'm dog-sitting, but the one puppy makes me feel like I'm taking care of 8 dogs.
